‘World Politics’ article named co-winner of APSA Mary Parker Follett Prize

Justice as Checks and Balances: Indigenous Claims in the Courts of Colonial Mexico” by Edgar Franco Vivanco, an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Michigan, first published in the September 2021 issue of World Politics, was named co-winner of the 2022 APSA Mary Parker Follett prize.

The award, given by the American Political Science Association (APSA) Politics and History section, recognizes the best article on politics and history published in the preceding year. 

The 2022 award committee was chaired by Monica Prasad, professor of sociology at Northwestern University, and joined by Didac Queralt, assistant professor of political science at Yale University, and Dann Naseemullah, associate professor of war studies at King College London. The award will be presented at the annual APSA meeting on Sept. 16, 2022 in Montreal, Canada.
